PLASTIC RECYCLING PLANT (Melbourne, AUSTRALIA)

We designed and implemented an advanced plastic recycling plant in Australia, capable of producing up to 30,000 tons of high-quality recycled polymers annually. This facility was developed to process rigid plastic waste and convert it into food-grade plastic.

Technologies used:

  1. SCADA WinCC: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system to monitor and manage the entire production process
  2. Management Software: Developed using Siemens TIA Portal, with advanced CPUs for continuous control and monitoring of the production line

Benefits achieved:

  1. Polymer Purity: The recycled polymers achieve a level of purity that allows them to be reused in the same sectors as their original applications, offering performance comparable to virgin materials
  2. Environmental Sustainability: The amount of plastic recycled per year will prevent the emission of approximately 30,000 tons of CO₂ equivalents
  3. Waste Reduction: Automated management minimizes errors and maximizes resource utilization
