We designed and implemented a cutting-edge automation system based on the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). The main objective was to optimize material transport within the warehouse, ensuring 24/7 operations with five AGVs equipped with optical guidance.
Technologies used:
- Software developed using Siemens TIA Portal, with CPU 1500 for logic and control management
- User interface developed in C# and C++ for intuitive and high-performance interaction
Benefits achieved:
- Increased operational efficiency: reduced transport times and eliminated manual interruptions enabled a smooth workflow
