Water Treatment Plant Automation – Chiascio Dam to Perugino-Trasimeno Aqueduct
We developed and deployed automation logic for a large-scale water treatment facility, covering both water and sludge processing lines. The system supported treatment stages including pre-ozonation, coagulation, sand filtration, and GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) adsorption.
Technologies used:
- Siemens S7-1500 PLCs programmed via TIA Portal
- SCADA integration for real-time process monitoring and alarms
- Load-sharing logic and soft-start routines for pumps and valve banks
